Network Operations Center and Conference Facility

The Story

NeuStar’s Sterling, Virginia, headquarters provides clearinghouse services, which include databases and systems for workflow and transaction processing. In addition to our main goal of providing superior integration design services and equipment, Human Circuit was committed to ensuring that NeuStar continued to function seamlessly, effectively and efficiently in their new facility during the integration.

The Network Operations Center (NOC) contains 10 work stations and nine rear projection cubes in a 3x3 stack. Each cube is a 70” 16:9 screen with 1080p performance, and is capable of displaying either multiple selected images simultaneously or one large image. These images can come from applications installed on the high–resolution video processor, DVD programs, or cable or satellite TV.

The conference room is located next to the NOC, and the two facilities are separated by an electric glass wall. Touch screen controls are available in both rooms, and allow the user to select either a “frosted” or “clear” look, which can be used for privacy or for viewing the NOC. This conference room also has a 60” plasma screen that is capable of 1080p and can receive displays from various sources such as PC, DVD, CATV, satellite receiver, or video routed from the NOC.
