32 Channel Video Ingest with AI Driven Closed Captioning

System Highlights

Four EditShare Flow ingest servers provide a total of thirty-two (32) HD-SDI/3G video ingest channels. Each Flow ingest server has eight (8) 1280x720/59.94 ingest channels with a choice of CODECs including ProRes and XDCAM50.   The ingest servers connect to an EditShare EFS storage system over a 10Gbps switched Ethernet network.

Two EditShare EFS300 storage nodes provide a high-performance, network attached storage system (NAS). Each EFS300 storage node includes 16 x 16 TB hard drives in a RAID6 configuration. The EditShare File System (EFS) spans both storage nodes and provides 445 TB of usable storage. The storage system’s performance supports the recording of all 32 video channels, associated proxy files, metadata, and multiple real-time (growing file) editing operations on NLE timelines (Adobe Premiere).

Closed Captions- Human Circuit and EditShare developed an automated Closed Caption creation and insertion workflow that leverages Audimus, an on-premises software platform that uses a speech-to-text engine that incorporates machine learning and AI to generate a transcript of the spoken words in recorded video files.
